About the Dickens Festival
Ever wanted to step inside a Hallmark Christmas movie? Held on the first Saturday of December since the 1990s, Dickens Festival transforms Historic Medford into a magical Victorian holiday village filled with twinkling lights, festive food, live entertainment, shopping, and Christmas cheer.
The Dickens Festival is Medford's signature holiday celebration and one of South Jersey's most beloved seasonal traditions since the 1990's.
Held annually on the first Saturday in December, Historic Main Street transforms into a Victorian-inspired winter wonderland filled with holiday entertainment, artisan vendors, food trucks, live performances, carolers, and festive family activities.

The festival is made possible through the Main Street Merchants of Historic Medford Village - along with the support of our volunteers, sponsors, local businesses, and community partners. We are especially grateful to SJS Title, presenting sponsor of the Dickens Festival since 2023. We are so grateful that their generosity each year helps bring this cherished Medford tradition to life.
Thousands of visitors gather each year to enjoy the sights, sounds, and traditions of the season, culminating with Santa's arrival by horse-drawn carriage and the lighting of Medford's Town Tree.
Hosted by the Main Street Merchants of Historic Medford Village, the Dickens Festival is free to attend and welcomes residents and visitors of all ages.
